About Adam Baldwin
Adam Baldwin is a celebrated indie rock singer-songwriter from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, known for his compelling storytelling, rootsy sound, and deep connection to the Atlantic Canada music scene. He began his musical journey as a member of the rock band Gloryhound and played with Matt Mays & El Torpedo before launching his solo career, which has earned him widespread acclaim. Baldwin released his self-titled debut EP in 2013, followed by notable albums such as No Telling When (2016), No Rest for the Wicked EP (2019), and Concertos & Serenades (2022), all of which highlight his evolution as a songwriter and his dedication to authentic, narrative-driven music. He gained attention for his YouTube series Cross-Country Chin Up, launched during the COVID-19 pandemic, which supported mental health initiatives and connected him with fans across the country. His song “Lighthouse in Little Lorraine” inspired the feature film Little Lorraine, premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2025, showcasing Baldwin’s influence beyond music. Known for his powerful vocals, vivid storytelling, and intimate live performances, Baldwin continues to tour extensively, collaborate with fellow Atlantic Canadian artists, and maintain a strong online presence through his official website, social media platforms, and streaming services, solidifying his status as a key figure in Canada’s indie music landscape.
