B.A. Johnston, born Christian Johnston in Hamilton, Ontario, is a Canadian comedic folk musician and performance artist known for his fiercely independent approach and chaotic, audience-immersive live shows. Emerging in the early 2000s, Johnston built a cult following through relentless touring, DIY album releases, and songs that blend absurdist humour with sharp observations about working-class Canadian life.
