About Joel Plaskett
Joel Plaskett is an award-winning Canadian musician, songwriter, and producer from Halifax, Nova Scotia, celebrated for his eclectic blend of rock, folk, country, and pop. Rising to prominence in the 1990s with the alternative rock band Thrush Hermit, Plaskett went on to launch a prolific solo career and form his backing band, Joel Plaskett Emergency.
