About Lazzy Lung
Lazzy Lung is an Ottawa-based rock band known for its energetic, guitar-driven sound that blends alternative rock, indie influences, and raw live performance energy. Originally formed in Beirut, Lebanon, the group later relocated and re-established itself in Canada, where it continued developing its identity and releasing music. The band is composed of long-time collaborators who have spent years refining their style through touring, recording, and independent releases. Lazzy Lung has released multiple albums, including Strange Places (2010), Sailor’s Delight (2013), and Swim the Tide (2018), each showcasing their evolution from gritty underground rock to more polished, melodic songwriting while still maintaining a loose, high-energy edge. They are active in the Ottawa music scene, performing at local venues and festivals, and are also involved in multimedia and podcast content tied to their creative work. With roots spanning nearly two decades, Lazzy Lung continues to balance its early Middle Eastern rock influences with its current Canadian indie-rock identity.
