About Marion Adler
Marion Adler is a versatile Canadian theatre actress, singer, and award-winning lyricist whose distinguished career spans stage, musical theatre, and occasional film and television work across Canada, the United States, and Europe. Based in Stratford, Ontario, and married to actor and director Scott Wentworth, she spent five seasons as a valued company member with the renowned Stratford Festival, appearing in productions including The Adventures of Pericles, Romeo and Juliet, and The Winter’s Tale. Her acting highlights also include powerful performances such as Amanda Wingfield in The Glass Menagerie and roles with The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. As a lyricist, Adler has earned critical acclaim for her evocative poetry and musical contributions, most notably co-creating the musicals Enter the Guardsman (nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Musical) and Gunmetal Blues with her husband and composer Craig Bohmler. With a rich body of work that includes libretti for song cycles and additional theatre pieces, she continues to bring emotional depth, intelligence, and artistry to every project, enriching the theatrical landscape with her multifaceted talent and dedication to storytelling through words and performance.
