About Skydiggers
Skydiggers is one of Canada’s most enduring and beloved roots rock bands, known for crafting thoughtful songs that blend folk, country, and rock influences with heartfelt storytelling. Formed in Toronto in the late 1980s by singer Andy Maize and guitarist Josh Finlayson, the group emerged from the city’s vibrant roots music scene alongside acts such as Blue Rodeo and Cowboy Junkies. Since the release of their self-titled debut album in 1990, Skydiggers have built a loyal following through a steady stream of acclaimed recordings and memorable live performances.
