When Anne Whateley arrives at Grey Gambrels, she’s a bit of a surprise to Matthew and Marilla Armitage, the bachelor brother and spinster sister who had planned to purchase a boy urchin as indentured labour. Unbeknownst the the old siblings, Anne nurtures an evil entity from another realm, with the purpose of destroying the world and delivering it to ancient gods to rule.
