But what about those who like the scary stuff but aren’t ready for the truly bone-chilling novels? What do you do when all your friends are discussing the latest Stephen King or chatting about their favorite Shirley Jackson? How does one go about pushing the front door of the genre and walking into the haunted house of horror literature?

Local writers, Tiểu Thúy Nguyễn and Jean-Francois Dubeau, along with horror artist, Francois Vaillancourt discuss the best ways to go from a horror novice to a true connaisseur of the macabre, including ways to best understand the subgenres of horror and deciding which is best for you.
