About Belmont United Church
Belmont United Church is a welcoming and inclusive congregation of the United Church of Canada located at 245 College Street in the historic village of Belmont, Ontario, where it has served as a cornerstone of faith and community since its formation following the 1925 Church Union that merged local Methodist, Presbyterian, and Congregational traditions into one progressive denomination. As part of the Belmont, Harrietsville-Mossley Pastoral Charge within the Antler River Watershed Region, the church fosters a supportive environment that celebrates God's love through meaningful worship, spiritual encouragement, and active community involvement, offering Sunday services every week at 10:45 AM that welcome people of all backgrounds, ages, and identities, including full affirmation of the LGBTQ+ community in line with the United Church's longstanding inclusive values. The congregation provides a warm space for prayer, fellowship, music, and outreach ministries, including women's groups dedicated to mission and service, while also hosting special events such as seasonal services and concerts that extend its reach beyond the local area.
