About The Conrad Centre for the Performing Arts
The Conrad Centre for the Performing Arts is a vibrant cultural hub in the heart of downtown Kitchener, Ontario. Donated to the city in 2021 by the Manfred and Penny Conrad Family Foundation, this 24,000-square-foot facility has quickly become a cornerstone for artistic expression in the region. The Centre features the Warnock MacMillan Theatre, a flexible performance space with seating for over 300 people, professional-grade lighting, digital audio and video equipment, a sprung floor for dance, and retractable tiered seating. It includes four dressing rooms, a green room, and office space, making it ideal for both small and large productions. For rehearsals or smaller events, the Blair Rehearsal Hall provides a mirrored, high-ceilinged room that can hold up to 100 people and closely mimics the layout of the theatre.
