Diaspora Diaries is an event series that seeks to reconnect culture and knowledge. To express is to philosophize, to discuss, to recite, to dance, to sing, to paint etc...
Through this purpose we seek to have meaningful discussions rooted in academic theories regarding topics that effect the diaspora and its allies.
This event is geared towards SWANA women presenting, non-binary, and trans individuals that desire to learn from each other and academic frameworks within the context of our cultures and shared experiences.
The theme for this discussion is "SWANA women revolutionaries and their contribution to sustaining radical movements". Pay attention to our instagram to understand how we will be apporaching this topic and recommended readings before the discussion!
