The Balladeers is a group that Paul Mills and his friends Alistair McGhee, Mike Holmes and Paul Odegaard formed in 1961 while they were students at Oakridge high school in London, Ontario. They have reunited only occasionally over the past 60+ years. They played at Oakridge's 50th anniversary in 2009 and have played Home County Festival twice. They released a CD "It's About Time" in 1999. This concert will be very special as these longtime friends show the love of the music they have shared together over all these years.
Father & son duo Paul & Trevor Mills have always enjoyed playing music together. The grooves lock effortlessly, their repertoires are complimentary, and the harmonies are familial. They’re both drawn to the lyrics of a song, be they playful and light, or poetic and poignant. They have released one CD together "This Boat that I Built with my Father."
